7 Reasons to Try CareClinic by Kaiser Permanente at Bartell Drugs

Need fast, convenient medical care? Walk into a CareClinic by Kaiser Permanente at Bartell Drugs — a walk-in clinic, get-well place for everyone, every day.

CareClinic, located inside many neighborhood Bartell Drugs stores, provides quick care for coughs, fevers, sprains, and other minor illnesses and injuries. CareClinic also offers services like vaccines and sports physicals.

Kaiser Permanente is growing, and we’ve opened four new CareClinic locations so far this year:

Our 15th CareClinic opens in Redmond Town Center in August. You can find CareClinic throughout the Seattle metro area in three counties — as far north as Everett, and as far south as Gig Harbor.

Here are seven ways CareClinic makes getting care easier:

  1. Convenient locations
CareClinic is available inside 14 neighborhood Bartell Drugs stores, right next to the pharmacy. Our 15th CareClinic opens in Redmond Town Center in August.
  2. Open evenings, weekends, and holidays
CareClinic is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day of the week. Ballard CareClinic and Crossroads CareClinic don’t close for any holidays, and the other locations only close on Christmas and Thanksgiving.
  3. Kaiser Permanente providers
CareClinic is staffed by Kaiser Permanente providers who make quality medical care their top priority.
  4. Coordinated care
If you normally get your care at a Kaiser Permanente medical office, CareClinic providers have access to your electronic medical record, which helps them make fully informed recommendations about your care. Information from your visit is also added to your Kaiser Permanente health records.
  5. On-site pharmacy
If you are prescribed a medication during your visit, you can fill it immediately at the Bartell Drugs pharmacy.
  6. Online check-in
At CareClinic.org you can check-in and virtually get in line (if there is one) in a matter of seconds. You can also see how many patients are waiting to be seen at each CareClinic — allowing you to pick the most convenient time and location for your visit.
  7. Open to all
You don’t have to be a Kaiser Permanente member to go to CareClinic. CareClinic sees everyone ages 2 and up, regardless of health coverage.

Consider CareClinic next time you need quick, convenient care close to home or work. “I would go back to CareClinic in a heartbeat,” says CareClinic patient Anne Steele of Kirkland. “I got in ASAP, I got my prescriptions ASAP, and the clinician was really knowledgeable and conscientious. I was just so grateful!”
